Chevy Starts First-Ever Video Series on Twitter

BAY CITY, Mich. –– In a swift and innovative move, Chevy starts the first of its kind video series on Twitter. This "retweet by subscription" service offers weekly comedy videos with pranks, quizzes and more by comedian Mark Smith interacting with Manchester United soccer players. The show is entitled Everything but Football Football Show, and is expected to start up this week. With some help from Commonwealth and MOFILM, a community of content creators and filmmakers, the show will take off on Twitter as a totally unique subscription service.

There will be plenty of opportunities for viewers and users to interact with the Chevy brand through the Moments option on Twitter, as some of the world's greatest athletes are interviewed and interact with the audience through the show. The show will be updated weekly and will give subscribers a notification through Twitter so they can be the first to see what it has to offer.

“It is our goal to break through the newsfeed-scrolling behavior of social, drawing fans to our brand and keeping them coming back week after week,” said John Gasloli, Global Chevrolet Marketing. “Using Twitter Moments and Retweet to Subscribe, Chevrolet is changing the video viewing experience from one that is passive, to one that is fully participatory and engaging. It also keeps the user within the experience, allowing them to engage with all content without ever leaving Twitter.”

Chevy's partnership with Twitter will allow it to interact with customers on a very personal level, offering them content directly tailored to their interests at a fast pace. With Chevy starting the first of its kind video series on Twitter, this new partnership puts Chevy directly in contact with their customers. Graff Gives Back to the FFA Scholarship Program

BAY CITY, Mich. –– Throughout the month of May, Graff Chevrolet in Bay City, Michigan, will be donating $10 from every vehicle sale and $0.25 from every vehicle service transaction to the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Scholarship Program. The money raised will benefit the FFA, a student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. The National FFA Organization is committed to their student members by providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Proceeds from oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and any other auto service needs you have will now benefit the FFA Scholarship Program members in our region. At Graff Bay City, we're dedicated to supporting local charities and organizations that make a difference in our community. Please join us in raising money as Graff Gives Back to the FFA Scholarship Program!

Graff Bay City will be supporting the FFA Scholarship Program by donating $10 from every vehicle sale and $0.25 from every vehicle service transaction throughout the month of May. Graff Bay City has also recently named their recipients for the 2017 FFA Chevy Trucks Scholarship, a team up between Chevrolet and the FFA to offer scholarships to dedicated members of local FFA chapters. We helped select and award five local FFA members with $1,000 co-sponsor scholarships to help take these brilliant recipients further in their education. Learn How to Use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - May Chevy Knowledge Power Hour

BAY CITY, Mich.–– Our vehicles are becoming more compatible with our technology and mobile devices as the years go on, and for the average driver, there is a bit of a learning curve to deal with. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on new Chevy models to keep you connected wherever you go and make using your phone while driving much safer, as these programs allow you to stay focused on the road. This month's Chevy Knowledge Power Hour will cover how to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and integrate these programs into your Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto enable users to display certain apps and functionality from their phone on the vehicle's MyLink infotainment display and control them using the touchscreen or voice commands. You can send, read, and reply to your text messages with voice commands so you never have to take your eyes off the road. You can also make phone calls, turn on your music, and much more with this technology. It's all in an effort to make the modern driver more connected and safer, by removing the temptation to look at your phone and try to use it while driving.
