(Major League Baseball) sponsorship renewal. Since 2005 Chevy has partnered
with the MLB and the Detroit Tigers for programs and showcasing their best-selling cars above Comerica
Park. This year, Chevrolet renewed another sponsorship with the MLB and USA
Baseball.
The three companies, Chevy, MLB, and USA Baseball, have come
together for a second season to get kids of all age groups involved in
baseball and softball within their community. Kids that participate can be a part of year-round local events, an inaugural Play Ball Weekend, and get unique
experiences with Major and Minor League Baseball teams.
Paul Edwards, the US VP of Chevrolet Marketing, is thrilled

Through this partnership, Chevrolet created the Chevy Youth Baseball Program. Over the year the Chevy Youth Baseball Program has donated over
90,000 equipment packs, renovated 9,400 local parks, and has made a difference
in over 5.2 million kid's lives across the nation. The program is dedicated to
bringing families and community together, as well as getting active and playing
America’s favorite pastime.
