No Shave November for Cancer Awareness at Graff Bay City

BAY CITY, Mich. – Can you believe that October is over already? Time flies when you're having fun! And we're continuing the fun through our Season of Giving at Graff Bay City! As part of our efforts this month, we're bringing back No Shave November for Cancer Awareness!

Not only do we want to raise cancer awareness by letting our hair grow, but we want to encourage everyone in our community to support the fight by donating the money you would typically spend on haircare and grooming to the cause! How do you do it? Well, we're making it easy during No Shave November at Graff Bay City! Today's the day to start clean shaven and take the pledge to LET IT GROW by visiting our pledging station to donate $10 to the American Cancer Society and get your "start photo" taken. Then spend the month letting your beards (guys) or leg hair from the knee down (gals) GROW before our wrap up party on December 1st where we will announce the grand prize winner of a luxury shaving kit!

By participating in No Shave November at Graff Bay City, not only are you raising awareness to help educate our friends, family and neighbors about cancer prevention, but by donating you're also making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer! Support Breast Cancer Awareness at Graff Bay City

BAY CITY, Mich. – Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in full swing and as always, we're excited to Support Breast Cancer Awareness at Graff Bay City! This year, we have TWO ways that you can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer during the month of October at Graff!

Throughout the month of October, you can Support Breast Cancer Awareness at Graff Bay City in two different ways: 1) By taking a test drive or 2) By purchasing a vehicle. All month long we will be hosting Test Drives for Breast Cancer in which Chevy will donate $10 to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for every test drive taken at Graff Bay City! Or, if you are considering purchasing a new vehicle before winter moves in, Graff Bay City will donate $25 for every new vehicle purchase in October to The Pink Fund in support of those affected by breast cancer.

Cool City Car Show to Include Graff Bay City Vehicles

BAY CITY, Mich. – Another summer weekend is upon us in Michigan and this weekend in Bay City we will be celebrating 5 Graff vehicles at the annual Cool City Car Show to benefit the American Cancer Society!

The Cool City Car Show will kick off on Friday, July 11th, with the Cruze for a Cure, followed by the car show on Saturday, July 12th! And this year, Graff Bay City will host 5 cars at the Cool City Car Show - a brand new 2015 Tahoe, 2014 Silverado Double Cab, 2014 Impala, 2014 Equinox, and the Just for Kids Camaro! Join Chevrolet On Purple Roads Against Cancer

BAY CITY, Mich.- Did you know that 60 years ago just 1 person out of 3 diagnosed with cancer would survive? Today, 2 out of 3 people diagnosed with cancer now survive, but we want to raise that number to 3 out of 3! General Motors has showed their support for the fight against cancer through programs like Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Cattle Baron's Ball. Now, you can join Chevrolet on 'Purple Roads' against cancer--we present the Purple Roads initiative!

You can join Chevrolet on Purple Roads against cancer by donating, volunteering, or purpling your profile! When you donate to the American Cancer Society you help cancer patients all over by providing them with rides to treatment, a place to stay while traveling for treatment, emotional support, and much more! If you want to donate your time, you can volunteer with the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program. You can make a difference by donating just a few hours of your time each week to provide transportation to and from treatment for cancer patients who cannot drive or don't have a ride.

To celebrate cancer survivors and in support of World Cancer Day on February 4th, turn your Facebook and Twitter profile pictures purple and Chevrolet will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society!
