Chevrolet Announces 4G LTE In-Car Connectivity

BAY CITY, Mich.- With Chevrolet's recent announcement at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, the automaker is speeding past the competition through a new partnership with OnStar and AT&T. Chevrolet announced 4G LTE in-car connectivity will soon be available to drivers of select 2015 models! Customers can stay more connected than ever with the addition of OnStar 4G LTE which will bring high-speed data into the car!

Chevrolet 4G LTE in-car connectivity will first be available on select 2015 models like the 2015 Corvette, Impala, Malibu, and Volt. Following the first rollout, OnStar 4G LTE will make its way into more Chevy vehicles like the 2015 Equinox, Silverado, Silverado HD, Spark, Spark EV and even more models which will be announced later in the year!

The best part about Chevy's new partnership with OnStar and AT&T is that the new 2015 vehicles will have a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, keeping you connected 24/7. Your passengers, whether they be family or friends, can connect to the vehicle's high-speed wireless internet through multiple devices like smartphones, laptops, and tablets. And thanks to AT&T you'll enjoy a more consistent and powerful Wi-Fi connection with the OnStar 4G LTE connection than provided by a smartphone.

Get 4G LTE In Your 2015 Chevy Pickup Truck

BAY CITY, Mich.- Chevrolet will soon be keeping your more connected than ever with the automaker's latest technology advancement. General Motors announced this week the exciting news that you will soon be able to get 2015 Chevy Pickup Tucks With 4G LTE! Yes, you will be able to get 4G LTE internet connection in your Chevrolet Truck, if you choose the available built-in wireless data network!

2015 Chevy Pickups Equipped With 4G LTE, will have the data connection built into the truck's electrical system along with an external antenna to ensure a good connection. The vehicle's 4G LTE connection, will allow the GPS navigation system to update traffic in real-time and allow owners to turn their truck into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Since 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G, Passengers will be able to surf the web and download video at 20-30 megabits per second.

The 2015 Chevy Pickups Equipped with 4G LTE, have initially partnered with AT&T, but GM expects to announce more information about carrier and supplier options in the next few months. Pricing for the data service has not yet been revealed, but Chevy may integrated with OnStar making it an added tier to the OnStar service.
