BAY CITY, Mich.- The Los Angeles Auto Show is coming up this week and Chevrolet will likely steal the show as they wrap up one of their most significant years! Sixty percent of the vehicles on display will be making their first appearance at the show and three new Chevrolet vehicles will debut at the LA Auto Show!

This year, Chevrolet has launched 13 new or significantly redesigned products in the United States including the new Chevrolet vehicles to debut at the LA Auto Show! First to be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show will be the 2015 Chevy Colorado midsize truck which will make its first appearance during media days! The automaker is also planning to debut two new Chevy Sonic sedans: the Sonic RS and Sonic Dusk, which will both appeal to younger customers with advanced technology at attractive prices.

Along with the three new Chevy vehicles making their debut at the LA Auto Show, the 2014 Corvette Stingray coupe and convertible, SS Performance Sedan, Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel, Camaro Z28, and 2014 Silverado will also be making their first appearance at the show. Chevrolet's New Limited Production Shade for Sonic

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Chevy Sonic has already been named the best small car made in the USA, making it a vehicle that stands out among sub-compact cars - now Chevy wants to further the Sonic's distinction by making it a color you won't be able to ignore! Chevrolet's new limited production shade for the Sonic is a chromatic plum shade titled Deep Magenta Metallic.

This plum color is the first limited-edition color to be offered for the Sonic, with a second color being added later this year. Chevy acknowledged that drivers consider exterior color to be an important factor and many vehicles come with limited paint options. If you're interested in this vibrant color, the Deep Magenta Metallic color will be offered exclusively August through October. After the Magenta is off the market, the hue 'Cool Blue' will be made available from November until March.

BAY CITY, MI- The Chevrolet Sonic is the only small car built in the United States! As a sedan or a hatchback the Sonic is a fun to drive, uniquely styled car. For 2013, the Chevrolet Sonic receives new features and standard equipment.

Standard safety equipment includes stability control, ABS brakes, panic brake assist, hill hold control, automatic headlamps, OnStar and ten airbags. Standard and optional features depending on the trim level include front fog lights, power windows, heated front seats, cruise control, a security system, air conditioning, XM satellite ratio, alloy wheels, and remote engine start.

The front-wheel drive Sonic is offered in two body styles; sedan and hatchback. All models come standard with a 138-hp 1.8-liter engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There are two available transmissions, a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic. A 138-hp 1.4-liter engine is also available on the LT and LTZ trims, and standard on the RS trim.

Chevrolet has designed the Sonic to be an innovator for cars, with its progressive spirit it earned the J.D. Power Award for Highest Ranked Appeal Among Sub-Compact cars. It’s all thanks to these achievements:

·       In 2012 Sonic was the first and only car in its class that received a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety.

·       It's also the first and only car in its class with 10 standard air bags.

·       The Sonic is a 2012 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS).

All trims now have Bluetooth, steering wheel audio controls, and outside rearview mirrors with an integral spotter. LT models now come with cruise control, and a USB port.
