You'll Be In Shock Over This New Camaro Color

The Chevy Camaro has sported a fairly tame palette offering, until now. The 2019 models are here and they've received a total makeover, with vibrant, new colors and modernized nose detail. Shock, the latest color offering, is headed for unveiling at SEMA on the 30th of this month. This extreme highlighter yellow shade is garnering quite the buzz among auto enthusiasts producing a mixture of both positive and negative feedback.

Although Chevy has not released any information about exactly which Camaro models are being offered in Shock, we do know that production with the new neon offering will begin early next year and will likely be an extra-cost option like the current red and orange color options. The restyled front features a relocated bow-tie emblem, as well as stunning after-market accessories like black badges and a rear spoiler to round out the new appearance. The aesthetics aren't the only upgrades on the 2019 models, however, as they feature new wheel design, state-of-the-art Chevy Infotainment systems, full-display rearview camera mirror, and forward collision alert. In addition, the 2019 Camaro sports a lower price tag than the 2018 model, $405 dollars cheaper to be exact.

Do you love the new color, but not muscle cars? Fun fact: this color is also currently available on the Chevrolet Bolt EV.

What are your thoughts on the 2019 Chevy Camaro models? How about the color shock? Do you love it, or is it a bit too much? Comment and let us know, we love hearing from you.

2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Program Announced

2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Program Announced
BAY CITY, Mich.- Last week, Chevy debuted an array of passenger cars turned high-performance concept cars at SEMA 2013, but the automaker really impressed show-goers and Camaro fans all over when they announced the 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Program! In 2014, the COPO Camaro Program will return with limited production of factory-produced race cars for the third year!

Chevrolet announced the 2014 COPO Camaro Program models will feature the same updated styling features as the newest Camaro, including new front and rear fascias. New to the COPO Camaro Program this year will be the two new racing engine choices which make the cars more competitive. The 2014 race cars will also feature new racing seats, updated graphics, and a new wheel design. While looks impress, safety is the most important so each car will be fitted with an NHRA-approved roll cage along with other safety equipment. But most notably, each of the 2014 COPO Camaros will be built by hand!

As in the previous COPO Camaro Programs, only a limited number of the high-performance race cars will be produced for 2014. Specifically, only 69 2014 COPO Camaros will be built for NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock competition. If you've been waiting to get your hands on a COPO Camaro since last year, make sure to get your name on the COPO mailing list at chevroletperformance.com! It's the only way to get one of the new race cars!

For those interested in serial number 1 of the limited 2014 run, it's going to cost you a little bit more! But it's all for a good cause. Serial number 1 of the 2014 COPO Camaro run is set to be auctioned off by Chevrolet Performance at the Barrett-Jackson annual January event. All of the proceeds from the sale of the first 2014 COPO Camaro will benefit the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans!
