Graff Gives Back to Do-All, Inc. Through ArtClash 2016

BAY CITY, Mich. – This month Graff gives back to Do-All, Inc. through ArtClash 2016. For every vehicle sold at Graff Bay City we’re donating $10 to the organization, and for every vehicle serviced we’re donating $0.25.

Do-All, Inc. is a non-profit in Bay County that offers employment opportunities, personal and social adjustment services, employment readiness, and supported employment for adults with disabilities and others that might have barrier to employment.

One of the events that Do-All, Inc. puts on is ArtClash. ArtClash is a three hour Juried Art Competition, which is judged by local art professions and faculty. Anyone in the community is welcome to come. It’s a lot of fun to see the participants create their work right before your eyes! Plus, half of the money raised goes towards Do-All, Inc., so you’re helping a great cause.

Graff is excited to give back to Do-All, Inc. through ArtClash 2016 because the event will actually take place at Graff Bay City later in April. Breast Cancer Awareness is at Graff Bay City

BAY CITY, MI – This month Graff Bay City is giving back in a big way! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we have two ways you can join us in the fight against breast cancer.

This month breast cancer awareness is at Graff Bay City. For every vehicle purchase $10 is donated, and for every service transaction $0.25 is donated. The Pink Fund helps raise money for families that need financial help while being treated for breast cancer. Most families nowadays rely on two incomes and when one is lost it causes distress. This money from The Pink Fund helps those fighting cancer to focus on recovering and only recovering.

Also, for every post on Instagram and Twitter using #IDriveFor $5 will be donated to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by Chevy. This non-profit works closely with the American Cancer Society to help educate women about prevention and save those that are diagnosed with breast cancer. Here are a few other things they do:

·      Invest in groundbreaking research to understand and prevent breast cancer

·      Empower those touched by cancer and rally communities to join the fight

Meet The 2016 Sixth-Generation Chevy Camaro

BAY CITY, Mich. – Get ready to meet the 2016 sixth-generation Chevy Camaro! General Motors looks like it has outfitted its new, 2016 sixth-generation Camaro to continue the epic battle between it and the Ford Mustang. A slightly smaller Camaro made its world reveal this past Saturday on Detroit's Belle Isle in front of 1000 fans, press and auto-insiders. The car looks like a fitter car than the one it's replacing yet retains the signature style with a 200 pound weight loss.

The new entry-level engine is now a 275-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo, which is the first ever for a Camaro. GM states that while the new Camaro is extremely powerful it will be good for over 30 mpg and a 0-60 mph in less than six seconds. The high performance Camaro SS is outfitted with a version of the same 6.2-liter V8 that debuted with the Corvette Stingray, which will push out 444-hp and 444lb-ft of torque. All engines come in either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Both the V6 and V8 engines options will also be offered with exhausts that can bypass the mufflers during quick acceleration to amp up the volume. Chevy didn't limit the upgrades to just the exterior however, the interior cabin is also completely updated.  The automaker has been scrutinized in the past on the Camaro's interior but for the sixth-gen model includes higher-quality materials, an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, and LED accent lighting with over 20 colors and a "car show" mode that cycles through all of the colors while the vehicle is in park.

Camaro Fans Get Ready For Pony Car Heaven

BAY CITY, Mich. – We have blogged about the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in the past, and we are getting closer and closer to the May 16^th premiere event on Belle Isle! When Chevy announced that the event would be open to the first 1,000 fans to register at the CamaroSix website, the company could not imagine the overwhelming response from the public! Chevrolet knew fans would be enthusiastic, however the didn't imagine that the event would full up in just over eight hours.

Camaro fans get ready for pony car heaven! When asked about the unbelievable response from the public, Monte Doran, spokesman for Chevrolet stated, "We were very surprised! We thought it would take few days or weeks to fill up the available spots, so the response far exceeded our expectations."

The reason Chevy has limited the premiere event to 1,000 people is because Chevy is planning on using already existing infrastructure for the Belle Isle Grand Prix, and the tent can only hold 1,000 people. But those 1,000 people are going to have the pony-car experience of a lifetime! In addition to being among those first in THE WORLD to see the all-new sixth-generation Camaro, they will also have the opportunity to ride along on hot laps of the racecourse in the 2015Camaro Z/28 models, and even take a parade lap in their own Camaros! Pretty sweet right? There will also be a Camaro Museum on site, with 25 cars ranging from the '67 Camaro VIN 16, which is believed to be the oldest production Camaro in existence, to the original '06 Camaro concept the preceded the fifth-generation production model.

Camaro fans get ready for pony car heaven, and if you weren’t apart of the luck 1,000 to get tickets to the CamaroSix event, don't worry! The rest of us will be able to get our hands on the new model when it arrives at Chevy dealerships later this year! It will be interesting to see how the new '16 Camaro stacks up against the Dodge Challenger, and the Ford Mustang. All three round out the typical, American muscle cars. Healthy, Easy Road-Trip Snack Options

BAY CITY, Mich. - Spring is finally here, even though it snowed yesterday, and that means families are gearing up to head out on the road! Whether it's visiting the grandparents across the state, or heading down to warmer weather for a nice beach vacation with the family, lower gas prices and better fuel milage on cars are making it easier for families to hit the road! Keeping yourself fed on these road trips is extremely important, and not necessarily easy. At every exit along the freeway, there are dozens of high fat, low protein food options... Well we're here to help! Here are some healthy, easy road-trip snack options! 

1. Apples: Apples are a GREAT source of fiber, and they are proven appetite suppressants. By munching on one or some apple slices, you'll definitely be able to calm that grumbling tummy. Heres a tip, if you want to much on apple slices but are afraid of them going brown, squeeze some lemon juice over them. The acidity prevents the apples from browning. 

2. Granola Bars: The store bought kind is fine, however they usually contain a lot of weird and unnecessary ingredients but by making your own, you can monitor the sugar levels and add your own ingredients! Try these! These are perfect for the kids, and provide a quick burst of energy! 

3. Muffins: Homemade are the best option, the store bought ones are a little gut-heavy. These look great, and here is a chocolate chip one for the kids (or adults). 

4. Veggies with Ranch Dipping Sauce: We get it, most of the time kids will only eat their veggies with some sort of dip. Try carrots, celery and red pepper with one of those made-for-travel ranch containers! 

5. Bananas: The nature made road trip snack! Filled with potassium, these will give you that last boost of energy to make it to the campsite! 

6. Turkey and Cheese Tortilla Roll Ups: This is a wonderful tasting snack that is quick and easy to assemble. The best part is you can modify the recipe to fit you or your child's preferences. This would also work with ham and cheese, blt, chicken salad, or veggie! 

7. Beef Jerky: Never underestimate the power of the jerky! This little snack is PACKED with protein, low in calories and will be able to handle your more carnivorous cravings! Our favorite brand is Krave Beef Jerky, with tons of different flavors, you're sure to fall in love! 

8. Cucumber and Avocado Sandwich: This hearty whole gran sandwich made with thinly sliced cucumbers, mashed avocados and light cream cheese will fill you right up!

Chevrolet Silverado & Equinox Showcased at Comerica Park

BAY CITY, Mich. — Today is Opening Day for the Detroit Tigers in Detroit and along side the game, baseball fanatics will be able to enjoy the presence of two beautiful Chevy vehicles showcased at Comerica Park for the 2014 season! A Blue Topaz Chevrolet Silverado and a Crystal Red Metallic Chevy Equinox made their way to the top of the Chevrolet Fountain just behind centerfield in Comerica Park last Thursday, March 27th.

Chevrolet is the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball and it only makes sense that the Silverado and Equinox put their gears into park right at their hometown stadium. With the assistance of a massive crane, it took about three hours to get these gems in place atop the Chevrolet Fountain. Not only does Chevy sponsor the well-known fountain at Comerica Park, but each year they select their most prominent vehicles from their lineup to showcase throughout the season. With the help of over 3 million spectators in the stands and at home, maybe the full-size pickup and small SUV will act as good luck charms for the Tigers, inspiring them to knock it out of the park!

At the end of the 2014 baseball season, the Silverado and Equinox will be updated and detailed before going to dealer auction, unlike the featured vehicles from previous years.
