Chevy C7 Corvette Might Become a Hybrid Sports Car

Chevy C7 Corvette Might Become Hybrid Sports Car
BAY CITY, Mich. - In a recent interview, GM President Mark Reuss let the world in on a secret - the Chevy C7 Corvette might become a hybrid sports car in the near future. With so many vehicles in the Chevy lineup becoming more efficient, the car company admits that it has been tossing around the idea of a more efficient and environmentally friendly Corvette.

Currently, the standard Stingray comes with a LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine that can produce about 450 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft of torque. The sports car goes from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds and is considered to be the most powerful standard model ever. It can also get about 30 mpg on the highway, making it surprisingly fuel efficient for a sports car with that much power.

The possibility that the Chevy C7 Corvette might become a hybrid sports car would mean that the Corvette would become quieter, more powerful, and be more fuel efficient. While it's currently just a thought, it certainly sparks a lot of debate about what this would mean for the vehicle that is considered to be one of the most iconic American cars of all time.

Two New Bose Sound Systems for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Two New Bose Sound Systems for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
BAY CITY, Mich. - The world is eagerly anticipating the 2014 Stingray, as the specifications and features have been widely spread. Now the extensive list of features is getting even longer as two new Bose sound systems have been introduced for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Bose announced that two new sound systems will be made available for the Stingray coupe and convertible. An optional 10-speaker Bose Centerpoint surround sound system and a standard nine-speaker Bose sound system will be made available, ensuring that you get the highest quality sound. The surround sound system is designed to provide riders with a rock-concert-level volume without audible distortion - this gives you the best music experience possible in a vehicle. The sound system also has a great feature that continuously monitors background noise and will adjust the volume accordingly. This lets you focus on the road and not so much on the audio controls!

For the sound systems, a 3.25-inch mid/high-range neodymium Twiddler speaker is built into each door, but placed in such a way as to balance the sound throughout the Stingray. There is also a pair of 10-inch Nd woofers in each door, as well as a 8-inch woofer (only with the Centerpoint option) enclosed in the trunk.

As for the rest of the vehicle, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the most powerful standard model in history, with a LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450 hp and 450 lb.-ft of torque. This speedy car goes from 0-60 in under 4 seconds and is expected to be on the lot in the next couple of months.
