2015 Chevrolet Colorado revealed today at the LA Auto Show, is expected to be the most powerful truck in the midsize segment! With a standard 2.5-liter I-4 engine or optional 3.6-liter V6 engine, the Colorado is expected to deliver class-leading power, payload, and trailering ratings which will allow owners to haul and tow more! Not to mention the Chevy Colorado will offer the midsize truck segment's only diesel engine, lending the truck to the broadest range of needs!
When it comes to style, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado has a confident and sporty demeanor that appeals to North American consumers. Available in various configurations, the new Chevy Colorado covers a broad range of needs. Choose from the WT, LT, and Z71 trim levels in two wheel drive or four wheel drive and the various cab/bed sizes (extended cab model with a 6 ft. bed, crew cab with a 5 ft. bed, or crew cab with a 6 ft. bed). Even if you select the brawniest of the bunch, the Colorado Z71, you'll still enjoy a quiet ride thanks to the triple-sealed doors inlaid in the body sides.
Not only is the 2015 Colorado expected to be the most powerful truck in its class, but it also features many segment-first characteristics! The truck is the first in its segment to feature an aluminum hood to improve front-to-rear weight balance and keep overall mass down, and the segment-first active aero grille shutters enhance aerodynamics.
Inside, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado drew inspiration from the Silverado combined with the best attributes of midsize cars to create an interior space that was comfortable, equipped, and connected. Specifically, the Colorado features a sculpted headliner for more headroom, space in the front of the center console for easy phone charging, rear under-seat storage, and a large enough center console to store a tablet!
