BAY CITY, Mich. - General Motors has announced that an all-new Chevy Spark will arrive in 2015.  On sale since 2009 but only available in the U.S. for the past year, General Motors will completely redesign and improve the Spark - something that Chevy drivers across the world should be excited about.

The current Chevy Spark is a minicar that is actually quite spacious inside. It's interior is beautifully designed, with stylish seats and a sleek look. It comes with a 1.2-L 4-cylinder engine that produces 84 hp and 83 lb.-ft. of torque. This doesn't seem like a lot, but it's important to remember that this vehicle isn't made for the racetrack. It's official EPA numbers are amazing, as it gets 32 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway - some drivers have even reported higher numbers!

All-New Chevy Spark Will Arrive in 2015
The Chevy Spark is inexpensively priced without being cheaply made. It has great features that are both aesthetically pleasing and perfectly functional. The current model is a great car, especially for drivers in the city, however, we can't wait for the all-new Chevy Spark to arrive in 2015.

2014 Chevy Cruze Will Now Offer Clean Diesel

2014 Chevy Cruze Will Now Offer Clean Diesel
BAY CITY, Mich. - While the 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel was made available in select cities this past spring, the 2014 Chevy Cruze will now offer clean diesel to citizens all over the country. Said to appeal to those who are "environmentally and economy conscious, but still want performance", this vehicle will be available at dealerships across the nation in the next couple of months.

While many drivers associate diesel with plumes of smoke and big trucks, this is not the case with the 2014 Chevy Cruze. Having been tested rigorously by GM, this vehicle shows none of these typical characteristics that people normally think of. The vehicle does keep the diesel rumble that is well known, but it's not something you hear from inside the sound-insulated and roomy Cruze.

The 2014 Chevy Cruze will now offer clean diesel and will be available with 151-hp, 2.0L turbo diesel
2014 Chevy Cruze Will Now Offer Clean Diesel
that provides 264 pound-feet of torque - all while getting an astonishing 46 mpg on the highway. Having recently been tested, the Cruze gets up to 700 miles on one tank of gas, equalling about 10 hours of highway driving! It also comes with anitlock disc brakes, 10 airbags, traction and stability control and OnStar - all of which have earned the Cruze Diesel top crash scores.

2014 Chevrolet Equinox Review

2014 Chevrolet Equinox Review
BAY CITY, Mich. - If you're looking for a small crossover SUV that rides comfortably and has solid EPA fuel economy ratings, the 2014 Chevy Equinox is the vehicle for you! We've compiled a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox Review to let you know the good, the bad, and the beautiful aspects of this crossover vehicle.

2014 Chevrolet Equinox ReviewWhen it comes to beauty, the Equinox is a knockout. It's upscale interior is available in a two-tone color scheme that is appealing to the eye, while the quality of the material is equally satisfactory.  Chevy puts a lot of thought into the design of its vehicles and this is apparent in the 2014 Chevy Equinox. Inside you'll also find a touchscreen interface audio system that allows you to connect to your smartphone, and control everything from your dash. The MyLink system allows for Bluetooth streaming audio capability, that works with apps like Pandora.

The Equinox also has a very spacious interior, with plenty of legroom and headroom for all passengers. It also has 31.4 cubic feet of storage being the rear seats, which expands to 63.7 cubic feet when the seats are folded down.

As for how the vehicle drives, it actually handles quite smoothly. Two options are available with the 2014 Chevy Equinox, the first being a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that can produce 182 hp which can accelerate from 0-60 in 9.3 seconds. This option gives you an EPA fuel economy estimate of 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. The second option is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 301 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque. The 0-60 for this option is about 7.0 seconds, which is very impressive when compared to other small and midsize crossovers. The EPA fuel economy is lower for this option, with 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Overall, the V6 is more impressive when driving as it provides a stronger and smoother performance. However, you sacrifice fuel efficiency with this option.

2014 Chevy Impala Earns Five Star NHTSA Safety Rating
BAY CITY, Mich. - The 2014 Impala has earned a five-star NHTSA safety rating on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's New Car Assessment test. Five-stars is the highest Overall Vehicle Score that can be achieved, and the 2014 Impala has done it! With new features that work to keep passengers safer than ever before, the Impala is more than deserving of the five-star rating.

With safety in mind, the 2014 Chevy Impala has multiple features that keep passengers safe. On the technology side, the Impala comes with crash imminent braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warnings, and a side blind zone alert. All of these features work to keep you alert and aware of your surroundings, with alerts and flashing lights. A rear vision camera, hill hold/start assist and ultrasonic rear park assist also come on the standard Impala. As for airbags, the Impala comes with 10! Designed to protect you from all angles, the Impala has you covered.

Chevrolet's New Limited Production Shade for Sonic

Chevrolet's New Limited Production Shade for Sonic
BAY CITY, Mich. - The Chevy Sonic has already been named the best small car made in the USA, making it a vehicle that stands out among sub-compact cars - now Chevy wants to further the Sonic's distinction by making it a color you won't be able to ignore! Chevrolet's new limited production shade for the Sonic is a chromatic plum shade titled Deep Magenta Metallic.

This plum color is the first limited-edition color to be offered for the Sonic, with a second color being added later this year. Chevy acknowledged that drivers consider exterior color to be an important factor and many vehicles come with limited paint options. If you're interested in this vibrant color, the Deep Magenta Metallic color will be offered exclusively August through October. After the Magenta is off the market, the hue 'Cool Blue' will be made available from November until March.

5 Chevrolet Camaro Secrets

5 Chevrolet Camaro Secrets

BAY CITY, Mich. - Since it's release by GM in September of 1966, the Chevy Camaro has experienced extreme changes to its interior and exterior components - all while keeping the great body and speed that keeps it as firmly planted as one of America's favorite vehicles. However, there are 5 Chevrolet Camaro secrets that you probably didn't know:

1. When GM was deciding on names, the Camaro was almost called the Panther. In fact, it was referred to as the Chevrolet Panther and Chevy even had the molds made for the Panther emblem! However, GM liked the two names beginning with "C", so the Chevrolet Camaro won.

2. The name "Camaro" actually has no meaning. It's simply a name that was invented and has no actual meaning in any language. Many argue that "Camaro" means "friend" in French, but this is just a myth.

3. The Camaro was actually imported from Canada. Although it's no longer an import, the Camaro was built in St. Therese, Quebec from 1993 until 2002. Hard to believe, eh?

4. Between the years of 1988 and 1991, the most commonly stolen car in the U.S was the 1986 Chevy Camaro. In fact, 1 out of every 5 built in the year 1986 ended up being stolen.

5. The Chevy Camaro has "outpaced" the Ford Mustang. This means that the Camaro has been the official pace car at the Indianapolis 500 six times, while the Mustang has only been the pace car for three. Only the Corvette has paced more 500s than the Camaro, with a record 12 times!

With these 5 Chevrolet Camaro secrets fresh in your brain, we hope that you are getting excited for the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro release date. For now, take a look at our 2013 Chevy Camaro Brochure or stop by our Mt. Morris Area Chevrolet Dealership today to take one for a test drive. SPOTTED: 2015 Chevy Colorado

SPOTTED: 2015 Chevy Colorado
BAY CITY, Mich. - With the weather getting toasty all over the country, photographers have spotted the 2015 Chevy Colorado out for some hot weather testing. Seen out and about in camouflage, we still are left guessing as to what the exterior will look like exactly. However, some interior specs have been confirmed.

SPOTTED: 2015 Chevy ColoradoThe 2015 Chevy Colorado has been confirmed to have a V-6 engine with variable valve timing and direct injection. If you look closely at the picture to the right, you can see that 'V6 VVT' and 'Direct Injection' are stamped on the engine. Using a V-6 engine in the Colorado means that GM is going to make its compact pickup more powerful than the last model.

SPOTTED: 2015 Chevy ColoradoAs for what we can see on the outside, it appears that the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado's grille is the same as the one seen on the 2014 Chevy Silverado. It is wide up front, but appears to have more of a shape to it. Overall it looks like a great vehicle, and we can't wait to see what specifics will continue to surface with this spotted 2015 Chevy Colorado.

Although the 2015 Colorado isn't expected to be sold until the middle of 2014, we have a great selection of 2013 Chevy Colorados on our lot! Stop by our Mt. Morris Area Chevrolet Dealership today and take a look at our New Chevrolet Trucks and/or New Chevrolet Cars. 9 Things You Need to Know About the C7 Corvette

9 Things You Need to Know About the C7 Corvette
BAY CITY, Mich. - The Chevrolet Corvette C7 is  one of the year's most hotly anticipated vehicles, and is expected to hit dealerships in the fall of this year. So while we eagerly await it's release, here are 9 things you need to know about the C7 Corvette:

1. The C7 marks the first use of a 'shape memory alloy wire' in a production vehicle. The new corvette uses a smart material wire, which is typically made of copper-aluminum-nickel or nickel-titanium. The reason that it is called 'smart material' is because this material can change its shape, strength and stiffness when it encounters heat, a magnetic field, voltage, etc. When the heat, voltage, etc. is removed, the 'smart material' will return to its original shape.

2. The C7's eLSD (Electronic Limited-Slip Differential) goes from open to full lock in tenths of a second. This eLSD will come standard with the Z51 Performance Package and uses a hydraulically actuated clutch to vary the amount of engagement - open to full lock in tenths of a second.  This is especially handy in notoriously bad Michigan weather.

3. Corvettes equipped with Z51 Performance Package or an automatic transmission get functional vents and rear-mounted transmission and differential heat exchangers.

4. NASA-developed insulation, called Aerogel, is used on the transmission tunnel. While the C6 was known for getting a little warm, the C7 uses Aerogel (a material used in space suits) to combat the heat in the center tunnel. Aerogel is an amazing material that is 99.8% air and insulates 39 times better than fiberglass.

5. 30 mpg - enough said.

6. $50k has always been the goal. With so many cool features packed into the C7, it's hard to believe that they were able to keep the base price at $50k. However, they set out in the beginning with intentions of not increasing the price too much. They were able to cut back the cost without taking anything away from the vehicle.

7. It's tires are amazing. Michelin worked with the Corvette team for 36 months to create tires for the car, and the result was the Pilot Super Sport ZP. This is a hybrid of the PS2 and PS Cup.

8. No more cross-drilled rotors! They have been replaced with new discs that are vented with shallow grooves. The C7 is also equipped with Brembo brakes.

9. Speaking of tires, the tires have asymmetrical sidewalls. This simply means that the walls of the tires are 3-mm thicker and made with stiffer construction to maximize comfort and turns.

We hope that these 9 things you need to know about the C7 Corvette has gotten you as excited for it's release as we are! With so many great features, this car is sure to satisfy your need for speed, as well as make you feel luxurious.  If you don't want to wait for the release of this vehicle, you can always check out our 2013 Chevy Corvette Brochure! If you are interested in taking the Corvette for a test drive, or simply have questions, you can always stop by our Used Car Dealership or New Car Dealership - our friendly staff would be more than happy to help you with whatever you need!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray the Most Efficient Sports Car Ever

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray the Most Efficient Sports Car Ever
BAY CITY, Mich. - General Motors has announced the fuel economy figures and it's official: at 30 mpg, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe is the most efficient sports car ever. While it is not the sports car with the best MPG ratings, it is the only sports car in the world that offers 30 mpg while still keeping its 455 hp - these factors combined make the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray the most efficient sports car.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray the Most Efficient Sports Car Ever
The 2014 Chevy Stingray is sure to dazzle drivers, as it has a new 7-speed manual transmission and a LT1 V8 engine that produces 455 hp. It will get around 17 mpg in town, and 30 on the highway; this is possible because of the vehicle's Eco mode's Active Fuel Management. This system cuts 4 of the 8 cylinders under light loads, or when cruising down the highway. The Stingray will also go from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds!

With the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray being named the most efficient sports car ever, many of the Corvette's competitors will be racing to follow the Stingray's example. It's important to note that the Corvette's biggest competitor, the Porsche 911, scores around the same mpg rating; however, its engine only produces 400 hp. This makes the Stingray the vehicle that can get the most horsepower from the least amount of fuel possible - and that's something to brag about!

While the 2014 Corvette Stingray won't be released to dealers until this fall, we still have a great selection of Corvettes available to you today! Check out our 2013 Chevy Corvette Brochure or stop in today at our Frankenmuth Area Chevrolet Dealership to take it for a test drive! If you're not in the market for a Corvette just yet, we are available to help you at our Used Car Dealership or assist you with getting a New Chevrolet Trucks! 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Will Be Unveiled in Detroit

2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Will Be Unveiled in Detroit
BAY CITY, Mich. - Although the North American Auto Show is still a few months away, it is believed that the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 will be unveiled in Detroit. The seventh-generation Corvette was revealed this last January at the Detroit Auto Show, so unveiling the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the same event would make perfect sense. Along with the 2015 Corvette Z06, the Corvette C7.R race car is expected to debut as well.

As for specifications of the 2015 Corvette Z06, not much is known. However, many have speculated that the Corvette will keep the 7.0-liter V8 but that the horsepower will increase to about 600 hp! With that kind of horsepower, the corvette would be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3.7 seconds. Now that's fast!

The current 2014 Corvette has a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450 hp and more than 450 lb-ft of torque. It also goes from 0-60 in less than 4 seconds and the EPA highway mileage is around 26 mpg. The decrease in 0-60 time is due to reduced weight and increased performance - the weight will probably decrease even more as the 2015 Corvette is expected to go even faster.

Although we have to wait until the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 is unveiled in Detroit, to get the exact car specs, the 2013 Chevy Corvette Brochure is available for perusing right now! If you like what you see, stop by our Mt. Morris Area Chevrolet Dealership and take a look at our New Chevrolet Cars. With the spacious 2014 model due out at the end of this summer, check out our 2014 Chevy Tahoe review that is sure to get you excited for its release.

As for the performance of the SUV, it comes with a 5.3-liter V-8 with 320 horsepower, and a six-speed automatic transmission. For a vehicle of this size, the Tahoe does pretty well in terms of gas mileage. Getting up to 21 mpg on the highway, this SUV is a significant improvement over the SUVs of the past. The 2014 model also comes equipped with cylinder deactivation, which shuts off fuel to half of the cylinders when the vehicle is coasting or decelerating, and is E85 compatible.

Best Small Car Made in the USA: Chevy Sonic

Best Small Car Made in the USA: Chevy Sonic
BAY CITY, Mich. - During a time when many car parts are manufactured overseas, many are left wondering what cars are actually made in the United States. This can be a difficult question to answer, as certain parts are produced in various parts of the world. However, one American University professor has created a Made-In-America Index that looks at where each car company is located, and where their research and production is done. Taking this index into account, and also looking at how stylish and comfortable each vehicle is, the best small car made in the USA is the Chevy Sonic.

According to this Made-In-America Index, the Chevrolet Traverse is actually one of the top contenders for being the most American, as it scored 88.5 out of 100. Yet, when you take into account style and how comfortable, the Chevy Sonic was voted best small car made in the USA. The Sonic is assembled in Michigan, with the Chevy headquarters being located in Detroit. As for comfortableness and style, the Sonic is a small car with plenty of room for passengers to sit comfortably.

As for the specifications of the 2013 Chevy Sonic, it has a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine that gets 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. It can go from 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds, meaning that this little vehicle is pretty quick! It was also voted the 2012 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, as well as receiving a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety.

Want your very own Chevy Sonic? Check out our 2013 Chevy Sonic Brochure or stop in at our our Mt. 6 Simple Fourth of July Recipes

6 Simple Fourth of July Recipes
BAY CITY, Mich. - It's officially time to celebrate the red, white and blue as Independence Day has arrived! We know that this day is all about celebration and fun, so you shouldn't have to stress about what you're going to make. Whether you're taking food to a BBQ, or throwing one of your own, we have 6 simple 4th of July recipes that quick and painless.

6 Simple Fourth of July Recipes1. Patriotic Popcorn! This recipe is super simple and super delicious. First, you pop your popcorn (or buy a bag of pre-popped) and place it in a large bowl. Taking a 12 oz. bag of candy melts (we use vanilla), melt the chocolate using either the microwave or your oven. After the candy is melted, pour it over your popped popcorn and toss it to spread the chocolate evenly. Using your hands is recommended, but you can get creative. After it is evenly tossed, take red/blue sprinkles and sprinkle it over your popcorn. The popcorn will need to cool for a few hours, but it's absolutely delicious when it's ready!

2. Layered Fourth of July drinks! The trick to getting the layers is to look at sugar content. For these drinks, Sobe Pina Colada, OceanSpray Cran-Apple, and Gatorade Blueberry-Pomegranate were used. The drink with the highest sugar content (the OceanSpray) will sink to the bottom, while the drink with the lowest sugar content (the Gatorade) will rise to the top. You can use any drink you'd like, as long as you layer the sugar content.

3. Red, White and Blue Strawberries! This is such a simple thing to do and always looks so nice on your table. Using melted white chocolate (if you made the patriotic popcorn, you should still have melted candy melts!), dip your strawberries 3/4 of the way into the chocolate. Immediately after dipping, roll your strawberry in blue sprinkles. They will need time for the chocolate to harden, but they look and taste so nice when they are ready!

6 Simple Fourth of July Recipes4. Spangled Sandwich Pops! The nice thing about this recipe is that the sandwiches are already made - you just have to make them patriotic! Taking a box of ice cream sandwiches, insert a popsicle stick into each one. Then, simply roll the sandwiches in red, white, and blue sprinkles to make them ready for the 4th. If you think these sandwiches will get messy, we recommend sticking the popsicle stick end through a cupcake liner to catch any drips.

5. Independence Day Fruit Salad! This requires almost no effort, as you'll just need a big bowl and various red, white and blue fruit. We recommend using blueberries as your blue fruit, as blueberry season is in full swing here in Michigan. Raspberries, watermelon, or strawberries will work for your red fruit, while bananas work great as your white!

6. DIY Festive Cupcakes! This is a great thing to try if you have kids and want to keep them busy. Simply prepare various red, white and blue cupcakes. After letting them cool, the kids can decorate them with various festive toppings! This entertains the kids and also let's them get a little creative!

Mint Condition Antique Chevy Cars To Be Auctioned

Mint Condition Antique Chevy Cars To Be Auctioned
BAY CITY, Mich. - A large selection of cars have recently been discovered inside a Chevy dealership in Pierce, Nebraska. Having closed up shop 17 years ago, Lambrecht Chevy Dealer sealed around 60 or so vehicles inside their garage and only recently opened the garage again. While seeing the condition of cars that have been locked away for 17 years is exciting, the real treasure is that many of these vehicles have less than 10 miles on their odometers - that means they are brand new! This treasure trove of mint condition antique Chevy cars is to be auctioned off.

Mint Condition Antique Chevy Cars To Be AuctionedLambrecht's large selection of cars is expected to bring in quite a bit of money, especially because of the mint condition of the antique Chevy Cars that are to be auctioned off. While they are a bit dusty, the fact that they have almost no miles on their odometer is extraordinary. Some of the most exciting finds include a 1958 Cameo pickup truck that has one mile on its odometer, a 1978 Corvette Stingray with four miles, and a 1956
Chevrolet Bel Air with less than ten miles.

Due to the way these cars were locked away, their motors and exteriors are in perfect condition. The 1958 Cameo pickup truck is one that is drawing quite a large crowd, as it is expected to bring in the most money. This Cameo is already a rare model but to be in such good condition really ups the ante. One auctioneer went so far as to suggest that the pickup has the possibility to bring in six figures.

Lambrecht's opened their dealership in 1946 after World War II, and was forced to close their doors in 1996. They were a family-owned business for 50 years and are sad to see their collection go.

While our vehicles might not be locked away in the garage for 17 years, they are still in pristine condition with low miles! Whether you are looking for a Low-Mileage Used Car or a New Chevrolet Car, we have the perfect vehicle for you! So stop by our Frankenmuth Area Chevrolet Dealership today and let us help you into the car of your dreams. Hank Graff Chevy is located at 3636 Wilder Road, Bay City, MI 48706. Chevy Corvette Celebrates 60 Years

Chevy Corvette Celebrates 60 Years
BAY CITY, Mich. - The Chevy Corvette has just celebrated 60 years of being in production, as June 30 marked their 60th anniversary.  Called "the world's longest-running, continuously produced passenger car", the Chevy Corvette has a long history of style and speed. As the Chevy Corvette celebrates 60 years, it's worthwhile to look back at the first vehicle ever put into production.

In 1953, the first Chevy Corvette rolled off the production line in Flint, MI. It was a great vehicle, but nothing compared to the Corvette today. The first corvette's output was 150 horsepower and was only able to go from 0-60 in 11.5 seconds. It was made out of fiberglass as opposed to steel, and was a beauty to look at. However, the next Corvettes to roll off the line were a big improvement. The 1955 model improved it's 0-60 time, getting the vehicle up to speed in 8.5 seconds.

The Corvette quickly evolved after the first few years, as it changed its 'face' in 1956, introduced the Stingray in 1963, and finally completely redesigned the vehicle in 1984. The 1984 model had a "Crossfire" V8 engine, an electronic dashboard, 205 horsepower and could go 0-60 in 7 seconds.

Currently we are in the sixth generation of Chevy Corvettes, with the seventh generation due out later this year. The 7th generation Corvette will bring back the Stingray name, and is the most powerful standard model to date. It will feature a LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine that will output 455 hp and 460 lb.-ft of torque, and is expected to go from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds! That's quite a difference from the 11.5 seconds of the original model!
