BAY CITY, Mich.- When gas prices continue to climb we start to think of how we can improve our fuel efficiency to save some extra cash at the pump. Well, did you know that in addition to your usual fuel saving practices, there are a few Tips To Save Fuel In Winter specifically? And if you can, park your car in the garage during the winter months. Your vehicle will stay warmer while it's not being used and won't burn as much energy while warming up. If you can't park in a garage, you don't need to warm your car up for 10 minutes either. It only takes 30 seconds to warm the engine sufficiently, and anything after that is wasteful.
