Burn Off the Extra Calories This Holiday Season with a Workout Routine

BAY CITY, Mich. – Turkey, pie, cookies, candies, and more! This time of year brings far too many delicious dishes and treats to not indulge a bit. The only downside is that by the time New Years Day rolls around you may not fit into your jeans as well anymore. But thankfully there are plenty of simple exercises you can do from home to help keep your fitness up while allowing you to snack and sample all the delectable food. So try using our workout routine to burn off the extra calories this holiday season.

Repeat this cycle of exercise 2-3 times for a serious workout:

30 Sit-Ups
15 Hip Raises
10 incline push ups
20 bodyweight squats
20 walking lunges – 10 each leg
50 High Knees
30 jumping jacks
10 dumbbell rows (using a gallon milk jug or another weight)
15-second plank
15-second side plank
