BAY CITY, Mich.- The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is already one of the industry's most capable trucks, but a new collaboration is taking the truck to a whole new level! At the recent National Automotive Dealers Association convention, Lingenfelter and Southern Comfort Automotive revealed the 2014 Chevrolet Reaper, changing the face of performance trucks for good!
While in the past there hasn't been much variety in the performance truck segment, GM engine tuner Lingenfelter and custom truck shop Southern Comfort Automotive have joined forces to change the name of the game. The project started with the 2014 Chevy Silverado and then took a turn towards intimidating with an angry-eyes look achieved through a new grille and hood, high clearance bumper, integrated flood light system and front skid plate. But the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Reaper revealed it's about more than just looks. This truck is capable of just about anything including high-speed off-road challenges, thanks to the Fox racing suspension system and 20-inch Beadlock wheels.
Last but not least, the Reaper wouldn't be considered a performance truck if it didn't have something impressive under the hood! Equipped with a Lingenfelter supercharged V8 engine, the 2014 Reaper boasts an impressive 550 horsepower! And you better bet all that power doesn't come free! The 2014 Reaper will set you back $50,000-$60,000!
