Chevrolet Keeps Families Safe with the new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox

A standard feature you'll see in many new cars is the Rearview Camera; however, Chevy has taken it to the next level with the Surround Vision feature in the new Equinox crossover. Instead of relying on one set of eyes to see what's happening around the car before backing out, the 2018 Equinox provides a full 360-degree vision, which is shown on the infotainment display for easy viewing. 

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox Surround Vision uses four cameras to complete the 360-degree view. The technology combines the powers of the Rear Vision Camera, a camera that lies in the front grille, and two cameras that sit under each side mirror. When the Equinox is put into reverse by the driver, the display will show both the bird's eye view of the car and the Rear Vision view. This means you'll be able to see what's surrounding your vehicle on each side and what's directly behind your vehicle, complete with alerts when you're getting close to an object.
