BAY CITY, Mich. - After much anticipation, the 2014 Chevy Camaro convertible has been revealed and it's a looker. While it will make its official debut at the 65th Frankfurt Motor Show, shots of the sleek vehicle have been released to the public by Chevy.
Quite a bit has changed on the 2014 Chevy Camaro convertible, as it now features a low-slung silhouette and Chevy's MyLink radio system. The front fascia has a wide lower grille and a more narrow upper grill - along with a hood vent that helps keep the engine cool. Under the hood, you'll find a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 432 hp and 569 lb.-ft. of torque. This allows the convertible to go from 0-60 mph in only 5.4 seconds!
As for what features come with the 2014 Chevy Camaro, it comes standard with active fuel management and cam phasing which is used to improve performance, fuel economy and emissions. Inside the vehicle, as we mentioned, it comes with Chevy's MyLink radio system. This entertainment system gives the driver access to music playlists, photo galleries, phone books and more. It also has a text-to-speech feature that allows you to listen to your text messages - this allows you to be social and safe at the same time.
At the rear of this power machine, a new deck lid, horizontal lamps and a diffuser top off the new design, along with a spoiler with integral antenna. From bumper to bumper, this vehicle is sure to please owners and passerby alike!
